Everest Team INSPI(RED) Update
Everest Team INSPI(RED) is preparing for the next step of their climb up the world's most menacing peak. Stationed at Camp I, the team has be practicing their advanced techniques with ice climbing, cavern crossings using ladders and anything else the mountain may throw at them.
The team's preparation at 19,000 feet is essential to the success and safety of an Everest climb. High altitudes and Everest weather take a toll on climbers' equipment and can weaken the mind and muscles instantly. This preventive training helps their bodies adapt to the extremes of climbing the world's tallest mountain through continuous exercise and training.
For about a month the team will be making the trek between Camps I, II and III before making an attempt at the summit. In the evenings the daily rigors in preparation for a safe climb are visible when the team returns to camp exhausted. For them recuperation comes from a subzero sleeping bag and their favorite music playing on their Sansa Clip MP3 players.
Exposed to elements most consider beyond extreme, the Sansa Clip has proven itself as an unbeatable companion for entertainment in any circumstances. Within the next month the INSPI(RED) team will take their Sansa Clips to the Mount Everest summit. Throughout the climb the team has been using their Sansa Clips not just for entertainment, but also as a digital recording tool to capture their experiences with the Clip's built-in microphone.
