What Are You Doing To Help Your World?

How about using your Sansa MP3 player to reduce your environmental footprint? Well surprise, surprise, if you are using an MP3 player efficiently and intelligently, you may already be helping the environment.

An "ecological footprint" is the measure of how many natural resources an individual consumes. Just think back to before you had your MP3 player. Think of how many different CD's, DVD's, books, individual pictures, and equipment you used to need to make up your media library. Not only did all those things take up your space, you were taking up a lot of paper, plastic, wood, and other natural resources too. Now, with the help of your MP3 player, you have the ability to store all of your music, books, photos, movies, and other media on your MP3 player, Flash drive, or Memory Card. If you're using your MP3 player effectively, you will be cutting down on your use of natural resources. By taking advantage of high capacity flash memory cards and MP3 players instead of buying CDs, and carrying your photos around digitally instead of on hundreds of pieces of paper, you can do your part.

There will always be a lot of changes we can make in our lifestyle to help our environment for future generations. It all starts with a first step though, and that first step could be something as simple as using your Sansa MP3 player to the fullest. In doing so, you are reducing your use of natural resources. Spread the word, do some research, take the practical steps yourself, and let your friends and family know all the ways they can help reduce their own environmental footprint.
